CIRCUS: Nicole et Martin@Platt Fields Park, Thursday to Monday

FINISH the school holidays in style with a visit to an unusual event at Fallowfield’s Platt Fields Park.
Storytelling circus duo Nicole et Martin bring their Tall Tales in to the area from Thursday to Monday, offering a selection of favourite Grimm’s fairy tales including Hansel and Gretel, The Fisherman and his Wife and The Musicians of Bremen.
These will be performed in the circular White Tent – a uniquely intimate environment seating 200 and constructed with curving wooden poles and surrounded by the traditional travelling caravans that Nicole et Martin call home on the road. Follow the flags and lights to a smaller tent where they meet the audience and which also serves drinks and gingerbread from the Hansel and Gretel witch’s house.
The two performers become myriad different characters, fascinating the audience with skilful acrobatics, music, puppetry, movement and storytelling.
