Brian Gorton

ANIMAL lover Mr Brian Gorton, of Burnley Road, Loveclough, died at Fairfield General Hosiptal, Bury, on Monday 28 July, aged 72.

Mr Gorton worked in the textile industry until retirement and enjoyed being outside spending time on his small holding.

He leaves his wife Molly, daughter Julie, sons Dean and David, sister Barbara, who lives in New Zealand, brother-in-law Jim, sister-in-law Barbara, a nephew and nieces.

His funeral takes place on Wednesday 6 August when there will be a celebration of life service at the chapel of rest at 2.15pm before Joanne Elliott conducts a service and cremation at Burnley at 3pm.
